Margarita Fest at Wall Street Plaza

Saturday July 24th is National Tequila Day so Wall Street Plaza is celebrating with one of the most requested days ever.... Margarita-FEST! Bring your flip flops and bikini tops for bottomless Margaritas and a Tequila tasting!

Drink muchas flavors of Margaritas from the traditional to the unusual...and taste some of the finest and most well made Tequilas around. Of course we'll have music and all the usual Wall Street Block Party fun. The cost is only $20 and you're guaranteed to have a great time.

Blanco: 100% Agave Tequila that is not aged and untreated with additives.

Reposado: 100% Agave, "rested" Tequila that has been stored in oak barrels between two months and one year.

Anejo: 100% Agave, aged Tequila that has been stored in oak barrels at least one year.

History: Tequila was first distilled in the 1500-1600's in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. The specific plant that is used to make Tequila is the Weber Blue Agave. It takes 8-12 years for the Agave to reach maturity. As Tequila is aged in wooden barrels, usually oak, it becomes smoother, with a woody taste and golden color. Few Tequilas are aged longer than three to four years. Most premium Tequilas are sipped straight up, but they also make great margaritas.
